The Ohr Torah International Fellowship Program serves as a home and professional network for rabbis, educators, and communal leaders dedicated to building bridges of faith and understanding. Fellows engage in deep learning and meaningful interfaith activity from encounters with religious leaders in Israel and abroad, to study, writing, and the development of educational programs that translate shared values into action.
This initiative is rooted in the vision of the Ohr Torah Interfaith Center (OTIC), founded in 2020, to make religion part of the solution to global challenges. Through its Beit Midrash and the Blickle Institute for Interfaith Dialogue, OTIC works to promote mutual recognition and respect between Judaism and other faiths, particularly Islam.
Led by Rabbi Dr. Yakov Nagen, one of the foremost figures in global interfaith dialogue, OTIC’s network spans Morocco, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iraq, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Europe, Australia, the United States, and more, alongside partners in Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
In the wake of October 7, the Center’s mission has become even more urgent: to counter the weaponization of religion and to bring faith leaders together to heal divisions between Jews and Muslims, and within Israeli society itself. Moreover, with the US President Trump's 20 point Gaza peace plan stating in point 18 the importance of building interfaith relationships and dialogue, the Center is positioned to be a main hub for religious discussion and connection.
We invite you to take part in this shared journey of faith, learning, and peace.
